Sample Matrix- Aqueous Scrubber Solutions (Water soluble blends of: Alcohols, Alkanolamines, Amines, Caustic, Carbonate, Ethanolamines, Flexsorb,Glycols, Selexol)
Detection limits and ability to quantitate the individual ions depend on the specific sample matrix. Barring issues with interference, each ion is calibrated from 0.1 to 10 mg/L. Higher level sample concentrations are determined by analyzing a diluted sample aliquot. High levels of early eluting Fluoride, Acetate, Glycolate, or Formate in a sample may substantially raise the detection limits of other early eluting ions present if they are present in substantially lesser quantities. Relatively higher levels of either Sulfite or Sulfate will substantially raise the detection limit of the lesser abundant Sulfite or Sulfate ion.
